Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
